About Melissa Cathey
I am happy to be joining the team here at American Dream Realty. Although this is my first time to venture into real estate sales, I began my career related to real estate in the REO department at a savings and loan institution while in college at Southern Nazarene University. After graduation, I moved into a foreclosure administration role. My next venture took me into the real estate title and closing business where I worked for 15 years in both Oklahoma and Texas. I wore many hats while in that industry handling commitment and policy processing and underwriting as well as closing and escrow functions for both residential and commercial properties. I was fortunate to have been the escrow assistant for a prominent commercial closer in the Dallas market before moving to the Lake Texoma area. For the last several years, I have again been at a financial institution in the mortgage servicing area where I managed many aspects of mortgage servicing, shipping and funding. Now I am able to be getting into sales and am excited to help people find their piece of the American dream. I have been married to my husband, Scott, for 20 years and we enjoy riding together on our Harley every chance we get. I look forward to working with you and your family for all your housing needs.
